بطري چيست؟

به ظروف استوانه مانندي كه سَري انتهاي آن از بدنه‌اش باريكتر باشد و دهانه آن با يك سرپوش بسته شود ، بطري مي‌گويند.

ريشه اين كلمه گرفته شده از كلمه‌ي لاتين buttis به معناي بشكه است كه از زبان اروپايي به فارسي وارد شده است.

لازم به ذكر است كه در زبان عاميانه به بطري، بُطر و در پارسي سره، به آن جامك مي‌گويند.

بطري ها ساخته شده از شيشه ، پلاستيك و گاهي اوقات سنگ و سفال هستند .

حائز اهميت است كه بطري‌هاي شيشه‌اي و پلاستيكي براي نگهداري مواد غذايي بسيار بهداشتي تر از ظروف سفالي و بشكه بوده است.

 

 

تاريخچه ساخت شيشه و بطري هاي شيشه‌اي :

بطري هاي شيشه‌اي براي اولين بار حدود ۱۵۰۰ سال قبل از ميلاد در مصر به صورت تو خالي براي نگهداري روغن و مواد دارويي مورد استفاده قرار گرفت .
